한국 법무부(출입국.외국인정책본부)는 2012.1.1부터 한국에 입국하는 모든 외국인(아래의 경우는 적용에서 제외)에 대하여 양손 검지 지문스캔 및 얼굴촬영을 시행할 예정이오니, 참고하시기 바랍니다.(상세절차 첨부)
ㅇ 만 17세 미만인 사람
ㅇ 외국정부 또는 국제기구의 업무를 수행하는 사람
ㅇ 한국 중앙행정기관의 장이 요청하여 법무부장관이 인정한 사람 등
Biometric Identification Entry Process for foreigners visiting Korea
Korea Immigration Service (KIS) under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea will implement “Biometric Identification Entry Process (including fingerprints scanning and digital photographing)” effective 1 January 2012 for all foreign visitors other than defined below:
l Foreigners who have not reached the age of 17 at the time of entry into Korea
l Officials of foreign government or international organizations
l Foreigners who are allowed exemption from such Process by the KIS
