1.3.3- Power Selling Price in 2009:

·         Exchange Rate on Dec. 8^th, 2009: US$ 1.00 = VND 18,460.00

·         At present, power selling prices in Vietnam are applied in accordance with the Circular No. 05/2009/TT-BCT issued by the Ministry of Industry & Trade dated February 26^th, 2009, which has come into effects since March 1^st, 2009.   

1.3.4- Power Purchasing Price:

At this moment, power purchasing price for hydropower plants of 30MW and more and thermal power plants will be negotiated between EVN and the investor.

For Renewable Power Plants, every year, the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV) under the Ministry of Industry & Trade (MoIT) issued the price list used for purchasing electricity generated from Renewable Power Plants (including Small-sized Hydropower Plants (under 30MW), Wind Power, Solar Power, Geothermal Power, Tidal Power, Biomass, Landfill Gas, Gas from Waste Treatment Plant, and Biogas).

Hereunder is the Power Purchasing Price List applied for the year 2009 promulgated together with Decision No. 74/QD-DTDL dated December 24^th, 2008 of ERAV for reference.

-          Dry season: From November 1^st to June 30^th;

-          Rainy season: From July 1^st to October 31^st;

-          Normal hours (or off-peak hours)

+ For Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

. From 04:00PM to 09:30AM;

. From 11:30AM to 17:00PM;

. From 20:00PM to 22:00PM;

+ For Sunday: From 04:00AM to 22:00PM

-          High peak hours (For Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday)

. From 09:30AM to 11:30AM;

. From 17:00PM to 20:00PM;

-          Low peak hours: From 22:00PM to 04:00AM of all days of the week;

-          Surplus power: the amount of electricity actually produced in rainy season, which exceeds 85% of install capacity;
