DungQuat Investment Promotion Center was established in 2003 as an agency of DungQuat Economic Zone Authority  who report directly to the Vietnam Prime Minister.

Location

Quang Ngai Province, Vietnam; Adjacent to national highway No.1, North-South railway; bordering Chulai airport. 100 km south of Danang airport. 40 km north of QuangNgai town.

Total area: 10.300 ha, including:

v       Light industrial zone (1.500 ha of industrial land)

v       Heavy industrial zone (1.400 ha of industrial land)

v       VanTuong town (2.400 ha): accommodations, hospital, schools, resorts…

v       Deep sea port for ships 30.000-50.000 DWT

v       Non-tariff zone (300ha)

Investment cost:

v       Land lease term: 49-70 years

v       Land rental: US cent 5.25-15/squ.meter/year, flexible on payment methods.

v       Infrastructure maintenance fee: US cent 05 - 15/squ.meter/year, exempt in the first 02 years.

v       Waste water treatment fee: US cent 16-19/cubic meter.

v       Rental price of standard factory building: US cent 70/squ.meter/month, subject to 20% increase every 05 years.

à       5-year of free-duty import of materials, raw materials and accessories for production.

à       Corporate income tax: preferential rate of 10% is applied in the first 15 years. Tax holiday (exemption): the first 05 profit-making years. 50% reduction period: 09 years thereafter. High-tech projects enjoy the 10% rate for the entire project term.

à       Personal high-income tax is reduced by a half the normal regulated rates.
